Contra Dance Skills FREE Workshop 
Calling all dancers!
THERE WILL BE SNACKS
 The Bloomington Old Time Music & Dance Group will be offering a Contra Dance Skills Workshop on Monday, February 23, at Harmony School, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This workshop will offer insights into many aspects of contra dance, from frame and posture to giving weight and tension to broadening understanding of complex figures, while also adding flourishes to enhance one's dancing. Concepts that we examine will be placed into the context of actual dances, to help dancers better understand their relevance. Dancers of all levels are welcome and encouraged to attend: whether you're new to contra dance or have years of experience, you'll find opportunities to gain insights, connect with others, and have fun. The workshop is free, but we encourage preregistration to help us plan, also for snacks. So please, preregister!
